The HONMA BERES 09 Ladies Hybrids are perfectly suited for beginner to intermediate female golfers, particularly those with slower swing speeds. They are an excellent choice for any woman who struggles with getting consistent, high-launching shots from their long irons.

These clubs are built to inspire confidence. Their shape and lightweight nature make them easy to swing, helping to produce a high, soft-landing, draw-biased shot that is ideal for approaching greens

② Key Technologies

Honma has engineered these hybrids with specific technology optimized for the female player to make them as forgiving and powerful as possible.

  • Tungsten Nickel Weighting: A crucial 14-gram weight is positioned low and deep in the heel of the club. This creates a very low center of gravity (CG), making it incredibly easy to launch the ball high. It also creates a strong draw bias, which helps significantly in correcting a slice and producing a straighter ball flight.
  • Unique Sole Shape: The sole of the hybrid is designed to glide smoothly through the turf with minimal resistance. This helps players make solid contact even from less-than-perfect lies in the rough or on the fairway.
  • Uneven Thickness Face and Crown: Honma uses a sophisticated, variable thickness design for the face and crown. This expands the most effective part of the clubface (the "repulsion area"), ensuring that even when a shot is mishit, it retains good ball speed and distance.
  • New ARMRQ FX Ladies Shaft: This is the engine of the club. The ultra-lightweight, hand-rolled ARMRQ shaft is designed and made by Honma's master craftsmen in Japan. Its purpose is to be very light and flexible, helping the golfer to increase their swing speed without extra effort. The quality of the shaft, and its ability to resist twisting on off-center hits, increases with the "Star" level (2-Star, 3-Star, 4-Star, 5-Star).

The standard lofts for the BERES 09 Ladies Hybrids are designed for perfect distance gapping between the fairway woods and the irons.

  • U4 (replaces 4-iron): 22 degrees
  • U5 (replaces 5-iron): 25 degrees
  • U6 (replaces 6-iron): 28 degrees

④ Shaft Details

The shaft is the key to the effortless feel and performance of the BERES 09 Ladies Hybrids. It is incredibly lightweight, allowing the player to generate more speed and height easily. The standard and most common shaft is the ARMRQ FX in a Ladies (L) flex.
